Your TB Test is non-compliant and needs to be re-tested. The TB Skin Test must have Test Date, Read Date, and Results. The TB Skin Test must be read within 48-72 hours of the test date.
There are two types of tests for TB infection: the TB skin test and the TB blood test.
The TB skin test is also called the Mantoux tuberculin skin test (TST). A TB skin test requires two visits with a health care provider. TB blood tests are also called interferon-gamma release assays or IGRAs. A health care provider will draw a patient's blood and send it to a laboratory for analysis and results.
You can have this done at your healthcare provider's office or a lab.
