The tag, "Missing Date Men A," means you are missing a Meningococcal A (MCV4) vaccination.

If you have documentation of this vaccination, please upload it. If you do not, you likely will need to receive a Meningococcal A booster.

I Already Submitted Proof of Men A Why is This Tag Here?

If you are a student, it is important to note that your school may require that you have received the meningitis vaccination within the last 5 years or after your 16th birthday in order to be in compliance with their immunization requirements. Check to be sure your Men A vaccination is in compliance with this requirement. Additionally, some schools may require two doses of the meningitis vaccination, which is why this may be listed as a requirement on your account even if you have already submitted proof of the meningitis vaccination. To ensure that you are meeting your school's immunization requirements, please check with your university or contact us via LiveChat or email us for assistance.
You also may have submitted proof of meningococcal B instead of meningococcal A, which means that your school requires proof of meningococcal A for immunization compliance. This tag indicates that you must provide proof of immunization against meningococcal A in order to meet the school's immunization requirements.

Meningococcal A VS. Meningococcal B:

MCV4 (Men A) offers greater immunity to meningococcal infections over a longer period of time, particularly when booster doses are administered as necessary. Men B, on the other hand, offers a more limited protection against a specific strain of the meningococcal infection for a shorter period of time.
