UW HSIP- Rejected PPD Skin Test Single

1 min. readlast update: 03.13.2025

Your Tuberculosis (TB) screening submission was rejected because you submitted a record of a single PPD skin test. When choosing the TB skin test (PPD) to meet your initial TB screening requirements, TWO PPD skin tests must be completed with the 2nd test administered within 1-3 weeks after the 1st is read. In addition, PPD testing must be within the current calendar year to be accepted. Please review the Requirement Description in the Tuberculosis (TB) Screening section on the HSIP Webpage for more information.

Please submit documentation for two consecutive PPD skin test results for approval.

If your second PPD skin test cannot be placed within 1-3 weeks from your first PPD skin test's date read, then you will need to RESTART your two-step PPD skin test. HSIP highly recommends completing an IGRA Blood Draw if this is the case.
