If you have questions, please contact HSIP at myshots@uw.edu.

You have submitted a negative post booster Hepatitis B Surface Antibody Titer indicating you do not have proven immunity. You are now required to complete a second Hepatitis B vaccine series and then a final post-vaccination Quantitative HepB Surface Ab titer 1 month after the completed series.

  • Heplisav-B Dose Completed For Booster Dose - Complete a second Heplisav-B that is at least 28 days from your first dose to complete your Heplisav-B vaccine series.

  • 3-Dose Hepatitis B Dose Completed For Booster Dose - HSIP highly recommends switching to the Heplisav-B vaccine series since you are not responding well to the 3-dose Hepatitis B vaccines. If Heplisav-B is not available for you to complete, then proceed with completing the 3-dose Hepatitis B vaccine series. Please make sure to follow the Hepatitis B vaccine dosing schedule for the vaccine type you are receiving

  • Engerix-B or Recombivax HB (3-dose series): Doses are given at respectively 0, 1, and 6 months (minimum dosing intervals are acceptable:  dose #1 to dose #2: 4 weeks / dose #2 to dose #3: 8 weeks / dose #1 to dose #3: 16 weeks)

  • Hepatitis AB (Twinrix): Doses are given at respectively 0, 1, and 6 months (minimum dosing interval of 5 months between dose #2 and dose #3)

Please submit your Hepatitis B vaccine doses as you are completing the second vaccine series. You are considered temporarily compliant while completing the series as long as you submit your Hepatitis B vaccine doses.

Once you have completed your second Hepatitis B vaccine series and the documentation has been approved, a subsequent titer tag will be created for you to complete a final Post-Vaccination Quantitative HepB Surface Ab titer 1 month after the completed vaccine series
