Please complete a post-vaccination Quantitative Hepatitis B Surface Antibody (HBsAb-Qn) Titer.  A titer is a lab test requiring a blood draw to determine immunity status.  A physician's order must be obtained to get the titer.

·        Post-Vaccination Titer After Initial Vaccine Series – Complete a post-vaccination Quantitative Hepatitis B Surface Antibody Titer at least 1 month after your completed vaccine series.

o   If you already have completed a Hep B Surface Antibody titer that is AFTER your completed Hep B vaccine series and it is reactive/positive, you do not need to complete a new titer. Please make sure your lab report meets HSIP's Lab Result Documentation requirements and submit it for approval.

o   If you already have completed a Hep B Surface Antibody titer that is AFTER your completed Hep B vaccine series and it is non-reactive/negative, please submit the full lab report for approval. Once approved, a subsequent Hep B requirement tag will be created to inform you of your next steps for the Hep B requirement.

·        Post-Booster Vaccine Titer – Complete a new Quantitative Hepatitis B Surface Antibody Titer 1 month after your recent HepB booster vaccine dose. Submit the full lab report of your titer once you have the results available.
