Please complete a final post-vaccination Quantitative Hepatitis B Surface Antibody (HBsAb-Qn) Titer at least 1 month after your second completed vaccine series. Please make sure to complete the final post-vaccination HBsAb titer at least after 4 weeks to avoid a false negative reading.
In the event your final post-vaccination HBsAb-Qn titer is negative, then you may be considered a Non-Responder to Hepatitis B. A person is considered a “non-responder” if they have completed 2 full vaccination series’ without producing adequate protective antibodies. There are additional steps for Non-Responders which is why HSIP highly recommends completing a Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HBsAg) titer along with your final post-vaccination HBsAb-Qn titer.
Submit the full lab report of your titer(s) once you have the results available.
