UW HSIP- Subsequent MMR Dose #2

2 min. readlast update: 06.16.2025

You have submitted a single valid MMR dose. You will need to complete a SECOND MMR dose that is at least 28 days after your MMR dose #1 to complete your MMR vaccine series OR a positive Measles, Mumps, and Rubella IgG Titer.

·        If your MMR dose #1 was completed recently, you will need to wait at least 28 days before completing an MMR dose #2.

·        If you have submitted an MMR dose #1 that was completed more than 28 days, then please complete an MMR dose #2 as soon as possible.

·        If your Measles, Mumps, and Rubella IgG Titer results negative or low/equivocal, a second MMR vaccine is required.

Once we receive proof of two valid MMR doses, we do not require a follow-up titer.

Please submit your second valid MMR vaccine dose or positive Measles, Mumps, and Rubella titers once they are completed.

NOTE:  The dose must be at least 28 days after a prior live vaccine (MMR/Varicella).  Live vaccines may interfere with TB screening results.  TB screening should be completed prior to live vaccines or at least 28 days after a live vaccine.  Same day live vaccine administration and IGRA TB screening is ok.
